Built for firms that take data residency seriously

Cadenora builds the tools that professional services firms need to collaborate securely with their clients.

Why Cadenora exists

The name

Cadenora is a blend of two ideas: cadence — the rhythm of systematic, organized workflows — and -nora, evoking human warmth in an otherwise formal professional context. We believe that compliance and client experience aren't opposites. Good process can feel good.

The problem we're solving

Professional services firms — wealth managers, real estate developers, property managers, lawyers — share sensitive documents with clients every day. Most do it through email attachments, shared drives, or generic file-sharing tools not designed for regulated industries. The result: scattered documents, no audit trail, security gaps, and client experiences that don't reflect the firm's professionalism.

We built Cadenora to close that gap — a purpose-built platform for the governed space between firms and their clients, with the compliance controls that regulated industries actually require.

Regional data residency by design

Data residency is a hard architectural guarantee, not a policy. All data — documents, audit logs, messages, client information — is stored in Canada (Toronto region). We built this way from day one because firms shouldn't have to wonder where their data is. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications are on our compliance roadmap.

The Cadenora product family

We're building a suite of tools for the full lifecycle of client data governance. Bridge is where we start.

Now

Bridge

Secure document collaboration between firms and clients. Two-sided workspace and portal, full-text search, audit trails, structured messaging, and industry-configurable templates.

Future

Vault

Long-term archival and regulatory retention. Immutable record storage, lifecycle policies, and court-ready export for documents that must be kept, not just stored.

Future

Comply

Regulatory reporting and compliance automation. Structured workflows for KYC, AML, and disclosure obligations common to Canadian financial services and real estate.

Future

Lens

Analytics, insights, and client engagement metrics. Understand how clients interact with shared documents, surface at-risk relationships, and benchmark engagement across your book.

What we stand for

Three principles that shape every decision we make.

Security First

Five-layer defense architecture. Regional data residency as a hard constraint. PIPEDA compliance built in. AAL2 multi-factor authentication. SOC 2 Type II on our roadmap. Security isn't a feature we added — it's the foundation we built on.

Industry Aware

A law firm and a property management company don't work the same way. Cadenora is configurable by vertical — terminology, document categories, themes, and compliance defaults — not one-size-fits-all.

Honest Simplicity

Straightforward plans, honest comparisons. No proprietary lock-in that makes it painful to leave. No hidden fees or surprise charges. We'd rather earn your business every month.
